Clifton View Homes (CVH, Inc.) has been building fine custom homes and
commercial buildings on Whidbey Island since 1989. Founded by nationally acclaimed designer and
energy efficiency expert Ted L. Clifton, the company incorporated in 2003 to
become CVH Inc., dba Clifton View Homes.
The company has continued to thrive and grow, in spite of the economic
downturn in the housing industry since 2008.
One of the company’s first hires in 1990 was David
Wallace. David had recently graduated
from Oak Harbor High School, and was just looking for gas money. What he found was a career, and a love for
building. The care and character that
David puts into every project earned him a partnership in the company in 2003,
and he has since taken over the reins as Project Manager and Chief Operating
Officer.
While the company will build any kind of building the
customer wants, Clifton View Homes has become synonymous with Green Building
and Energy Efficiency. Since 2008, CVH
Inc., and their in-house design firm Zero-Energy Plans, LLC, have earned more
than a dozen National Awards for energy efficiency and Green Building. CVH Inc. has also certified more homes to the
SICBA Built Green® Five-Star level than all other builders in the Skagit-Island
County area combined.
If you are looking for a fine custom home, whether you are
looking for luxury or for a home you can afford to love, you will be well
served to call CVH Inc. today.
